Daniel "Boone" Salinas

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends and cooking out while watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.

Survivors include his son, Daniel (Stacy) Salinas Jr. and daughter Diane Salinas of Corpus Christi; daughter, Cynthia (Eddie) Esquivel of Lytle; daughter, Christina Salinas of San Antonio; brother, Roberto Salinas Jr. of Annaville; half-brothers, Juan and Elias Salinas of Corpus Christi and half-sister Margarita (Isaac) Lopez.

Grandpa Boone also leaves behind six grandchildren, Amber Danielle, Daniel III, Benjamin Alonzo, Olivia Maya, Daniella Andrea, Liliana Isis and a great Granddaughter Layla Danielle.

Daniel was preceded in death by his loving Wife, Margarita G. Salinas; his parents, Roberto and Josefa Salinas Sr.; and brothers, Noe and Ismael Salinas.

Daniel also leaves behind Maria and Eddie Escandon and his dog, Tiger who he also loved.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 10, 2015, with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
