Consuelo Anzaldua Rodriguez

Born in Raymondville (Norias) Texas to Adolfo Anzaldua and Victoria Villarreal on July 18, 1922 to a family of four brothers, Roberto, Adolfo, Victoriano, Valdemar and five sisters Dora Anzaldua Davila, Ester Anzaldua DeAlejandro, Faviana Anzaldua Garcia-Crossland, and Aurora Anzaldua Campbell-Sales. She is survived by siblings Valdemar Anzaldua and Aurora Anzaldua Sales.

Predeceased by previous husband Rogerio Davila and husband Reynaldo Rodriguez married 1948 to deceased June 2008.

Eleven children: son Noe Davila (deceased Jan.-2015) and wife Shirley from Abilene, TX; son Roger Davila (Guadalupe) from The Woodlands, TX, daughter Gloria Davila Garcia and husband Mike (deceased) of Houston, TX, daughter Yolanda Davila Rojas and husband Norberto of Encino, CA, son Rueben Davila and wife Yolanda (deceased) of Corpus Christi, TX, son Armando Rodriguez with Rosie of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter Maria Elena Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, son Reynaldo Rodriguez Jr and wife Olivia of Robstown TX, son Ricardo Rodriguez and wife Rosie of San Antonio, TX, son Rene David Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX and son Rodolfo Rodriguez (deceased July 2001). Also blessed with 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangement will be by Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3717 Saratoga Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
