Cleo Clack (Big Mama) Garcia, 98, went home peacefully on October 21, 2013 to be with our Lord and savior. She was born on September 6, 1915, in Sequin, Texas to Connie and Ada Clack.
Cleo was preceded in death by her husband Herman Garcia; two sons, Franklin and Charles Garcia; daughter Selia Garcia Simms; three brothers and seven sisters
She is survived by her children, Jewel Valentine and Lacy (Jessie) Garcia; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was a lifetime member of St. John Baptist church.
Visitation will be Friday October 25, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Celebratory service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Johns Baptist Church with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
