Christina Yturria

Ms. Christina J. Yturria, age 55, passed away on Wednesday night, March 28th. A viewing will be held for the public on Sunday, April 1st, at 5 pm with the rosary at 6 pm to follow at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Corpus Christi. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Christina was a native and lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. Graduated from high school at W.B. Ray, where she was president of the Ray Senior Girls Club. She then attended Del Mar College. Christina then became employed by the US Postal Service for 37 years where she developed lifelong friendships. She is survived by her parents, Fidel and Julia Yturria, brother Fidel Yturria Jr, sisters Gloria Calk and Laura Calk, son Andrew Elijah Torres, nephews Adam Yturria, Alec Calk, Noah Calk, Wyatt Calk, Morgan Calk, niece Sarah Calk, and granddaughter Bella Alani Torres and expecting granddaughter Christina Pillar Torres. She left behind a legacy of love and friendship that will be remembered forever.
