Carolyn graduated from W. B. Ray High School. She started dancing professionally at age 10 and raised money for many start-up mom & pop businesses and organizations, like the Kiwanis Club. She was very big in the USO. She also entertained and visited many hospitals and patients like the Naval Base Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Carolyn worked as a stewardess for Braniff Air Lines and she met and married Albert David White, who was an Air Force Pilot. She worked as a wife and mother, a model, in T.V. shows and cosmetics. Carolyn Jo (a/k/a Kelly and a/k/a C.J.) entered college in Corpus Christi, Texas and obtained her Bachelors in Physical Education from Corpus Christi, State University and a Masters in counseling from Texas A & M University, Corpus Christi, Texas. She worked as a counselor at the Corpus Christi Job Work Force and as a Reality Therapist. C.J. started her own therapy company and healed people through dance. As a dance therapist at the Rehabilitation Center on Airline and Saratoga in Corpus Christi, she was able to get chair-bound patients out of their wheelchairs and moving freely. She was a courageous, bold and inspiring lady and a light to many. She loved the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. She served in many church organizations, Christian, Catholic, political, and brought many people to the lord. She donated to Children's Cancer, Animal and Christian Societies, police organizations, and more. Carolyn started a popular company called "Things Wives Do" and "Things Husbands Do." The company provided services like, cleaning, laundry, transportation, mail pick-up, pet services, renovations, and landscaping. She was invited on "Good Morning America" as the owner of the company and described in the Corpus Christi history books as "the First Engineer of a Fashion".
She is survived by her children: Ann and Melissa White; grandson, John David Heinrich; great-grandchildren, J.J. and Patrick Heinrich; nieces and nephews: Christie, Katie, Denise, Dennis, Jonathan, and Aimee Bailey.
She's preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Bailey; brothers, Dennis and Floyd Bailey.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel-Everhart from 5 - 9 p.m. Holy Rosary recited at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 3350 S. Alameda Street, Corpus Christi, TX followed by Funeral Mass at 5:30 p.m.
