Carlos graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1974 and then enlisted in the United States Army from 1974-1977. Carlos retired from the military and enjoyed supporting his Miller Bucs Football team. Carlos was a loving father, son, brother and cousin who will be missed by all who knew him.
Carlos is preceded in death by his parents, sister Maria Guadalupe Noyola, brother Jose Angel Avila, and niece Monica Ruth Diaz.
He is survived by his daughter Irma Avila of Victoria, Texas, goddaughter Octavia Rocha, sister Norma Glover of Las Vegas, NV, brother Dorato Avila, Jr. and sister Sylvia Avila both of Corpus Christi, TX.
4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
