Bobbie Jean Fain Wright, 83, passed away on January 18, 2015 in Arlington, Texas. She was born on July 30, 1931 in Ingleside, Texas to the late Loy Raymond and Melva Mae Fain. She was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi and will be dearly missed.
Bobbie Jean graduated from Ingleside High school in 1948 and loved going to their reunions in the later years. She married the love of her life William Hollis Wright in April of 1949.
She was a member of Windsor Park Baptist Church and of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a church secretary and Sunday school teacher. She was also a counselor secretary at Shannon Jr. High and a registrar at Richard King High school.
She enjoyed square dancing, travel, sewing, and will e remembered for her love of the Aggies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Deborah Gilbert (Larry), Dwayne Wright (Brenda), David Wright (Christie); grandchildren, Lori Moore, Kristin Ayala, Kayleen Wright; great grandchildren, Kaci, Kara, Ashton, Gavin; sisters, Wanda Mae Robertson, and Melva Ray Stewart.
A visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
