Billy Edward Ross

Billy Ross, age 72, passed away June 27, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Billy retired as a Captain after 32 years of service with the Corpus Christi Fire Department, then enjoyed several years of retirement. By his side always was the love of his life, and his wife of 55 years, Barbara. Billy is also survived by his 4 children: Jackie Rominski (Hank) of Westbrook , CT; Barbara Jean Elliott (Joe), Jerry Jo Largin (Billy), and Eddy Ross (Tasha) all of Corpus Christi; 4 grandchildren: Meredith Hood (Jared), Grant Eddins, Greg Rominski and Kyler Ross; 1 great-grandson: James Hood; 1 brother: Bob “Red” Ross (Amanda); step-grandson Drew Largin; former son-in-law Gary Eddins; and countless other family members and dear friends. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. Visitation will be Sunday July 1st from 5-8 pm and funeral services will be held Monday July 2nd at 3 pm, both at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Funeral Home at 3442 Holly Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CCFD Cancer Fund (C.A.R.E.) at 6014 Ayers (78415).
