Betty Marie Imhoff Bland, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 5, 2023. She was lovingly known as Betty, Mom, and Nana. Betty was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on September 6, 1940, to Edmund Imhoff and Dessie Cantrell Imhoff. She married her sweetheart Larry shortly after graduating from Sundeen High School in 1958.
Betty was a stay at home Mom to her four children, leaving them all memories of a wonderful childhood. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren more than anything in the world.
Betty is preceded in death by her father, Edmund Imhoff; her mother, Dessie Imhoff; and her husband of 63 years, Robert Larry Bland. She is survived by her children, Leslie (Kenny Haney) Bland, Todd Bland, Lisa Bland Coleman, and Heath Bland; her grandchildren, Joshua Bland, Kelsea (Aaron) Roggy, Elissa Bland, and Breana Bland; her great-grandchildren Travis Bland, Ryan Roggy, and Connor Roggy.
Betty’s wishes were to have a celebration of life instead of a traditional funeral. Information on this celebration is pending.
