She was employed by CCISD for 23 years before she retired in 2004. She was a loving mother, daughter and grandmother and will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Diana Gonzalez.
She is survived by her long lifetime companion, Leopoldo Sanchez and her children, Delma (Miguel Gonzalez) Delgado, Elixandro (Yvonne) Delgado and Leticia (Tim Zonkel) Delgado; six grandsons, Christopher Cerros, Noah and Luke Delgado, Antonio and Ivan Gonzalez and Nathan Zonkel; siblings, Martin Saenz (Elisa), Joe Saenz (Katy), and Maria Saenz and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
