Beatrice, “Bella”, Lopez, 96, passed away on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024. She was born February 2, 1928, in Corpus Christi, TX, to the late Federico and Frances Aldrighetti. Bella will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and cousin.
Beatrice attended and graduated from Corpus Christi High School. She then joined the Central Supply Department at Memorial Hospital where she worked for more than 40 years before retiring. Bella enjoyed her career and even after retirement would walk to Memorial Hospital to visit and have lunch with her former colleagues.
She was a devout Catholic and a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed walking to visit her friends and family in the neighborhood where she grew up in, eating out with family and friends, watching TV and traveling to visit her family. Beatrice was also a great seamstress – often helping her family members mend and alter their clothing.
She is survived by her sister, Elvira (William) Blickenstaff; sisters-in-laws, Valentina Aldrighetti and Aurora Aldrighetti, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lopez; brothers, Federico Aldrighetti Jr., David Aldrighetti, and Henry Aldrighetti; nieces, grandniece, and cousins.
A visitation for Beatrice will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A holy rosary will occur Friday, June 28, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A funeral mass to be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 710 S 19th St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405 with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park
