She was born in Kingsville, Texas on October 23rd, 1944. She attended Miller High School in Corpus Christi and Del Mar College. She was married to Gerald Dwain McCain on May 29, 1959.
Bobbi was a wife, mom, bookkeeper, artist, and business owner with her husband and helped operate Dwain McCain Plumbing Co. until she retired. She was a member of Annaville Baptist Church and had a passion for reading, painting, music, raising horses, dogs, quilting, antiques, shopping, and travel. She loved spending time with close family and friends and spending time at her ranch where she helped to build the house there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Allen Plummer and Cora Odean Plummer; her sister, Jenny Lynn Plummer, and her sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
She is survived by her husband, Dwain McCain; her sister, Sandra Castle and nephew Trevor Tipps; her four children and their spouses, son, Darrell (Rhonda) McCain, son, Rafe (Tracy) McCain, son, Ryker (Lori) McCain; daughter, Rachel McCain (Wesley) Vardeman and 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will held Friday, November 12, 2021 with Visitation from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM and Funeral Services at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Zachary McCain, Ryan McCain, Jacob McCain, Morgan Vardeman, Kasey Vardeman, and Carson Tipps.
Donations to Caring Pathways (caringpathways.org) or St. Jude’s Hospital (in the name of Bobbi Ann McCain) are acceptable in lieu of flowers.
