Barbara M. Garza was called to the arms of our Lord on Friday, April 29, 2022. She was 63 years old. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 7, 1959 to Candelaria Musquiez and Valde Posas. She married her middle school love, John M. Garza and completed 44 years of marriage. She became a proud, loving mother to her 5 children.
Barbara was a lively, joyful and generous woman. She was a hard worker, devoting her life to her family. She will always be known for her beauty; inside and out. She loved music, singing, family gatherings and being her children’s greatest support.
Being a mother was her greatest accomplishment and she proved that through her endless devotion, love, support and friendship with her children. She was promoted to being the absolute most loving and giving grandma, who was adored and cherished by all 8 of her grandchildren.
Her relationship with her daughter-in-laws was like no other, full of laughs, talks and friendship; a bond that will be forever cherished.
Barbara graduated from W.B. Ray High School and was a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church. She served her community for many years working for HEB, Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehab and CCISD.
Mom, you will forever be the strength, light and center heart of our family. Your words of encouragement and gentle, loving-mother nature will remain in our hearts for eternity. Your strength as a mother is inspiring; a true Warrior of God on Earth. Mamma, you are free.
