Aurora was a devout catholic and proudly served her parish with the rosary society and performed rosaries for funerals. She was also a CCD Teacher for the children. She worked with and retired from Christus Spohn Hospital Administration Office.
She will be remembered for her love of laughter and being with her children. She instilled to always put your faith first and to never give up on your dreams. She enjoyed listening to music on the radio, camping and BBQing. She also loved a good deal at a garage sale or a good find at a local flea market.
She is reunited in Heaven with her parents; her beloved husband, Jesse Flores Jr., and her sister, Alicia Alaniz Stafford.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Orlando Jesse Flores “OJ”, Adelicia Ann Flores (Beatrice Tijerina), caregiver, Toni Garza; sister, Anita Alaniz Rodela; brother, Abel Alaniz; God Child, Melanie Nicole Galvan and numerous others.
A Memorial Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 12:30 pm with an Inurnment to follow at 2:00 pm at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
