Armando Landa Nunez Sr.

Armando Landa Nunez Sr., age 71, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Armando was born February 1, 1949 in Durango, Durango, Mexico. He was married to Maria E. Nunez on September 25, 1971. Armando was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He finally retired on July 1, 2014. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and had a passion for soccer, building furniture, and telling jokes.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Lydia E. Nunez; mother Lydia Landa

Armando is survived by his wife Maria E. Nunez; children: Rosa Maria Deleon and Armando Nunez, Jr.; grandchildren Alyssa M. Deleon, David Deleon, Romeo X. Deleon, Alexus V. Nunez, Annie N. Prado, Mya Lopez; great-grandchildren: Lydia E. Nunez and Delilah Deleon; brothers Jose Angel Nunez and Rogelio Nunez.

Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel-Everhart Chapel, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX followed by Funeral Service at 2 p.m.
