Aristeo H. Garcia

He was born on September 3, 1930 to Jose and Gabriella Garcia.

Aristeo H. Garcia went on to marry Francisca Rodriguez on August 27, 1953 in Brownsville, Texas. They both built a love so strong that now radiates throughout their numerous grandchildren and great grand- children.

Aristeo, was a dedicated entrepreneur and was a self- made truck driver. He would always be seen in front of a BBQ pit, or out fishing, and or hunting. Full of love for nature, Aristeo was a true outdoorsman. He had a passion for all types of animals. His favorite of all was his horse, “ muñequita ”. He took care of his dogs with so much love and treated them just as he would family. Spoiled them with treats, love and warm cuddles. Aristeo’s memory is known of that of a loving jokester who would do anything for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son Aristeo H. Garcia Jr.

Aristeo’s legacy continues through his children, Mary Sanchez, Bertha Alvarez (Arnulfo Alvarez), Nelly; grandchildren, Gina Rivera (Jimmy), Griselda Fonseca (Ricardo), Priscilla Faz (Eric), Nellita Reyna (Larry), Narda Isabel (Jake Ackley), Jackie (Gabriel), Veronica Flores, Gabriela Mejia, Gabriel Alvarez, Ricky Foncesca (Frida), Ricardo Garcia (Georgette), Pedro Garcia, Arte Garcia, III and Artie Lamar Garcia ,V. 34 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Aristeo will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
