Born in White River, South Dakota, on September 15,1932, to Arthur and Clara Werner, Ardella was one of four of their children. She was raised with her brother and sisters on a farm in Arkansas. In 1950, she married Keith Miller. Keith and Ardella were married sixty-one years and built a rich life together wherein they raise two children. They were followers of Jesus Christi and devout in their faith. They contributed to His ministry by their works and through their gifts all their lives.
Ardella spent most of her adult life working retail. She had a great sense of fashion and was good at her job. She liked what she did. In later life, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, and friends. She was very present and involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. As she aged, she loved sharing her memories of them. Her quick and quirky sense of humor was always present and was much enjoyed by her family.
Ardella will be greatly missed by her daughter Kelly Norton, sister El Lea Hensley, grandchildren William Norton, Logan Norton, Daniel Norton(Chloe Norton), Drew Miller(Jessie Miller) and Erin Hrncir(Lee Hrncir), daughter-in-law Linda Miller, great-grandchildren, Harper Norton, Lila Hrncir, Mason Hrncir, Mia Miller, Ruth Miller, Anna Miller, Abigail Miller, and Luke Allen Miller. She leaves behind other extended family members and friends to mourn her passing. She was a unique personality and loved by all.
As she faced her last illness, she took comfort in knowing she would one day be present with the Lord in the company of her husband and son. She longed to go home.
The kind and gentle lady will be laid to rest beside her husband at a family service in Corpus Christi on June 7, 2024.
