Anna M. Ramirez

We lost our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, who was so dear not only to us, but to countless of other relatives and friends. She never stopped mourning the loss of her beloved husband Fausto Ramirez, and at last she is reunited with him.

Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and praying for her love ones. She will be deeply missed, but remembered with thoughts of her great strength and courage.

Mother was a devoted wife and homemaker for many years. She attended Del Mar College to become a ward clerk. Anna was an administrative ward clerk for Memorial Medical Center Hospital for 16 years. She worked at 5 East, Burn Unit and CCU until she retired in October 1993. She was extremely dedicated to her career.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Fausto J. Ramirez of 55 years. Her parents Donaciano and Enriqueta Rodriguez; brothers, Donaciano Rodriguez III and Humberto Rodriguez and numerous other relatives.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Ramirez (Leanna), Diane Salinas (Ruben) and Katy Ramirez; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Danette (Dale), Bryan (Jenny), Kayla (Anthony) and Ruben Jr., brother, O.J. (Elva) Rodriguez, sister-in-law, Ida Mae Aleman (Henry), Carmen Gomez and brother-in-law, Leroy De Segura (Dahlia). Her great grandchildren; Isaiah, Nicolai, Yuri, Priya and Nicolas. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

We would like to extend a special Thank You to all her caring neighbors, especially, Joe Pena and family, Frank Rincon and family, neighbors for over 50 years and to the caring and friendly staff at HEB on Alameda and McCall.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
