Anita E. Perez

Today we lay to rest Anita E. Perez of Gonzalez, Texas born July 12, 1926 and wife to Jesus Perez and mother of 3, daughter Irene, sons, Jesse Jr., and Thomas as well as a grandmother to 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Anita was devoted to the church and actively involved in the community always helping others as she had done for over 60 years when she started her career in nursing. Anita was a beach goer and one fishing gal, she loved her pets as they were her kids, she was always smiling with never a dull moment in her life. Anita is survived by her sister Helen Ruiz and a niece Viola Donnelly.

Public visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Services will conclude at that time.
