If anyone wanted to read what I said during the euology, I decided to post it here for all to read. I want to thank my family for giving me the opportunity to do this.


Faith - Faith is trust, hope and belief in the goodness, trustworthiness or reliability of a person
Anita R. Muguerza was in my eyes a great woman, and from here on she will be referenced as MOMO.  MOMO was a Lady, a Wife, a Mother, a Grandmother, a great Grandmother and a great-great Grandmother.  I have seen every aspect of these adjectives used to describe her during her lifetime.  The one I have seen the most is Grandmother and thatâ€™s where I will begin.  
Every summer, my parents would take Gabriel, Monica and me to Corpus, to spend time with MOMO and POPO.   I donâ€™t know if it was just to get rid of us or for us to spend time with our grandparents.  I cannot tell how long we would stay, seemed like the whole summer, but my parents would roll up to my grandparents curb and drop us off then take offâ€¦just playing they spent some time with my grandparents too.  I look back and think how did my Grandparents handle 9 grandchildren at their home all at one time, because all her kids would bring their children, (the other 4 grandkids came later).  At least if felt like we were all there at the same time.  I would have to say Faith in GOD, gave her the strength and courage to deal with all of us.
As a Lady, when we would go places, everyone would be so respectful to my grandmother saying yes maâ€™am or no maâ€™am, Mrs. Muguerza or Sister Anita. I enjoyed coming to the church when we visited, one thing that was great to see, was when the Pastor would ask if there were any guest please stand and two or more rows would stand up proudly, because we were representing our Parents and Grandparents.  Coming to church was especially entertaining to me hearing how the congregation would try to figure out whose child belongs to which of MOMOâ€™s children.  Of course my favorite line from MOMO was, â€œthis is Gerald chicitoâ€ knowing very well I was the tallest in the family and her favorite.  The church gave her so much Faith to be the person she was.


As a Wife MOMO, always asked my POPO if he needed anything, whether a drink of water or a sandwich. I loved the way she would ask him, it was with love and passion.  She loved him so much and it was hard for all of us when he died.  I couldnâ€™t imagine what she went through; losing the one person she loved the most.  I am sure she relied on her faith in GOD to carry her through the pain and loneliness.
As a Great Grand Mother, (MOMO2) as identified by the current generation of kids was amazing to see her interact with them.  Even though she did not have the strength to lift them she would do her best to talk to them and listen to them.   She would be a parties and my mother and aunts were always trying to have her identify whom everyone was, by name.  We all had Faith she would be ok and get better.
I mentioned Faith several times and this is the one word that I think represents her.  Together MOMO and POPO molded 7 children, 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren and because of them each of us are better people.  I know that everyone can see what this Wonderful Woman with a little help from her husband has created using Faith in GOD.  
I would like the family to stand together one more time to represent Jimmy and Anita Muguerza. 
With Faith in GOD she made decisions that would give us all the opportunity to be, Ladies & Gentlemen, Wives & Husbands, Mothers & Fathers, Grand Parents, great Grandparents and if some of us are lucky Great-Great Grandparents.

I love you and miss you very much Momo, I think of you everyday you are on my mind constantly. Everything reminds me of you, I have to pray and ask God to help me let go because I cant seem to Momo it's so hard I just want to see you so bad and hear you talk to me and laugh with me and go with me riding around or to the mall and talk all day. You were always good company for me Momo you would always go eat with me and we'd sit and laugh and you would give me such great advice. I know I need to quit being selfish and let you rest in peace but it's so hard..... I LOVE YOU and I am so happy those were the last words that I ever heard out of your mouth before I left the hospital that night, I made sure you heard me tell you and you told me right back. Thank you Momo for being so good to me and being such a wonderful person in general and leaving such beautiful, loving, and most of all funny memories for me and my daughter to cherish for the rest of our lives. Until we meet again Momo I love you and I am so happy to know that when I do pass away I am saved and know that I will get the opportunity to be able to hug you again. Bye Ashley.


When I was a teenager my aunt Anita asked me to go and help her do some work with her at one of the houses of the people she worked for.  The memories after that never stopped.  She gave me endless advice and told me to always stay focused on the Lord.  I will miss her very much.  My condolences to all my cousins, aunts, and uncles.  May God be with us all during this loss.

I was very saddened to learn of Mrs. Muguerza's passing.  I know she is at peace now and her body free from any pain and illness.  Sending my sincerest condolences to her family & loved ones, especially Christina & Sally & family.  Keeping you all close to my heart and in my constant thoughts and prayers.  May GOD's loving arms offer you peace and comfort during this most sorrowful time of loss.
