Anita G. Gonzales

She was born in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico on August 8, 1937. She was married to Jose Angel Gonzales on May 12, 1976. He preceded her in death. Anita was a member of Templo Sion and loved serving the Lord. She had a passion for quilting and knitting. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children: Guadalupe Gutierrez, Doralicia Salinas, David Herrera, Elizabeth Martinez, Irene Gonzales, and Cynthia Gonzales. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Juan Antonio, Hector, Norma, Yolanda, and Jesus Gutierrez; Alejandro, Bianca Irene and Ruben Rios; Joe Angel, David and Carlos Herrera; Julie Salinas; Amanda and Miranda Martinez; Alicia Garza and Josefina Maldonado; Michelle Marie, Brandy and Darrell Herrera; Ashiley Gonzales; Jose Rafael, Rene Antonio and Maya Melody Gonzales. Anita is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-9 pm Tuesday February 27, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7pm that evening. Funeral Services will be at 10 am Wednesday February 28, 2019 at Templo Sion Pentecostal Church, 318 W Ave B, Robstown, Texas. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
