She retired after 32 years of service from the Seaman Center as a Public Servant assisting Merchant Marines upon arriving at the Port. She enjoyed being with her family at many family occasions. Anita’s memory will always be cherished.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jonathan Louis Morales.
Anita leaves behind her beloved children and family, Annie Escochea, Frank Gonzales (Norma), Gloria Martinez, Luis Garcia (Mary), Nellie Morales (Louis); seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
