Born on July 2,1977 in Dallas TX, but was raised and lived in Corpus Christi TX. He attended Ray High School. He was employed by H-E-B, RTA, Starplex and Walmart. He went on to become a successful entrepreneur to three businesses, one of which he was very proud to call Candy Andy. Coming from humble beginnings he made it a point to sponsor many organizations in his community, giving away backpacks full of supplies for back to school, Easter baskets for kids in need, and bikes for kids during Christmas time. Our family and friends are extremely proud of all he accomplished in his life. Andy brought so much joy and laughter into our lives; we will miss him dearly.
He was a beloved father, stepfather, son, fiancé, grandfather, brother, nephew, and cousin and friend. Andy had the sense of humor of a comedian and had a kind heart willing to help anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his infant son, Andrew Anthony Munoz; and maternal grandparents, Andres and Eva Landa
His life will be forever cherished by his mother, Lydia Lerma; his children, Andrew Anthony - better known as "Drippy Dru", Devon Andrew, and Alexis Marie Munoz; grandson, Drew Anthony Munoz; fiancé, Corinna Castillo Hernandez; stepdaughters, Raelynn Jolie, Raven Justine Hernandez, and Lynda Mariah Mesa; sister, Natalie (Domingo) Mejia Leon; and brother, Charlie Lerma.
A public visitation for Andrew will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A rosary will occur Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:15 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
