Andrew Jr Lee Garza

Andrew Jr Lee Garza, age 15, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 27, 2008, to parents Seleni Salazar and Andrew Lee Garza Sr.

Andrew was a sophomore at W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi. Though Andrew was young, he had many passions in life. He was a driven barber and loved to cut people’s hair, even having a barber set up in his kitchen at home. Andrew also liked to play basketball in his spare time. Above all, friends and family will remember Andrew fondly for making others laugh.

Andrew is reunited with his great-grandfather, Eluvin Pruneda; great-grandfather, David Duenes; and great-grandmother, Isabel Garza.

Andrew leaves his loving memories to his mother, Seleni Salazar (Arthur Ray Lopez); father, Andrew Lee (Cassandra) Garza Sr.; siblings, Aiden Garza, Xzayvin Garza, A’briyelle Garza, Azabelle Garza, Zariah-lyn Pineda, and Arabella Lopez; maternal grandparents, Yoli and Patrick Salazar; paternal grandparents, Ruben Garza (Kari) Sr. and Elizabeth Duenes; uncles, Ruben (Vanessa) Garza Jr., Patrick Salazar Jr.; aunts, Jeneva Garza, Patricia Salazar, and Adesina Salazar; as well as many extended family members, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to follow at 7 PM that evening. Mass of Christian Burial will occur at 10 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
