Andrea Perez

Andrea Perez, 94, passed away on December 5, 2014. She was born in Lyford, Texas on February 4, 1920. She was a dedicated mother and will be remembered dearly for her loving personality, her love for cooking and as a strong woman who looked out for others before herself.

Andrea was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church and a member of the church’s prayer group. She was also a Guadalupana.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ramon Quintanilla and Juanita Cruz Quintanilla, beloved husband, Gustavo Perez; daughter, Minerva Medina; sons, Jesus G. Perez, Oscar Perez; son in laws, Victor Medina, Jesse Moya; and daughter in law, Irma Perez.

She is survived by her children, Roberto Perez (Rosa), Janie Montalvo (Jorge), Paula Perez, Maria Moya, Soila Rodriguez, Guadalupe Perez, Vicki Rodriguez (Larry), and Gustavo Perez Jr. (Rafaela).

She also leaves behind to cherish her memories forty five grandchildren, eighty nine great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family members.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to Legacy Hospice especially Andrea, and to her private care provider Gracie.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 4 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
