Amelia "Aimie" D. DeLeon Garza

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Viviana Deleon and stepson, Richard Garza.

Aimie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others. She enjoyed traveling and visiting relatives. She was an active member with the Guadalupanas and Columbian Ladies at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Amelia is survived by her husband, Robert J. Garza, her four sons; Alfredo Perez III, Edward Perez, Gilbert Perez (Irene), and Tony Perez (Misty) all of Corpus Christi; 23 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 4 stepchildren, Robert Garza Jr. (Irene), Sandra Garza, John Garza (Karen) and Rodrigo Garza (Gracie) and one brother, Rudy Davila (Ernestina) from San Antonio, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

Visitation will take place Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 9:00 a.m.to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
