Amelia L. Castillo

She was born on December 1, 1940.

Amelia is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito Leija and Ricarda Hiracheta.

Amelia leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Pedro Castillo Zuniga; her children, Mario (Guadalupe), Efrain, Pedro Jr. (Angie), Rolando (Angie), Migdalia (Johnny), Berthilia (Ricardo) Lopez, Oscar (Andrea) and Amelia (Abel) Pena; 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Baldomero, Manuel, Abran, Maria, Juventina, Tomas, Oralia Leija; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington Street, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Juan Alberto, Mario Alberto, Julio Cesar, Ervin, Hector Osvaldo and Pete Jr.
