Alejandro B. Ramirez

Alejandro B. Ramirez, 89, passed away on May 31, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on February 10, 1926 to Manuel Ramirez and Francisca Benavides Ramirez. Alejandro was a loving father and grandfather, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Alejandro is preceded in death by his wife Corina M. Ramirez, his parents, and siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children Gloria E. Ramirez, Oralia “Opie” Serna (Richard), Evigae “Marty” Cibrian (Eugene), Minerva “Minnie” Walters (Earl), Alejandro Ramirez, Jr (Refugia) and Norma Ramirez; his grandchildren, Valeria Deleon (Daniel), Richard O. Serna, Jr. (Cindy), Veronica Reyes (Andrew), Eric Cibrian (Tammy), Ersulyn Casady (Shane), Aaron Walters, Clarissa Serna, Amaris Walters, Alejandro Ramirez III and Ariel Walters; and nine great-grandchildren Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with Entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers are Ricky Serna, Eric Cibrian, Aaron Walters, Alex Ramirez III, Daniel DeLeon and Shane Casady. Honorary Pallbearers are Dylan Reyes, Jacob Reyes, Roman Deleon and Luke Deleon. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations towards the Alzheimer's Association or Wimberley flood victims.
