Alejandro De Leon Muñoz

He served as a United States Marine for 22 years and was employed at CCAD for 7 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abelardo Muñoz, Sr. and Piedad De Leon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Muñoz; son, Alex (Emiko) Muñoz, Jr.; daughter, Michelle (Robert) Muñoz Cruz; grandchildren: Davion, Dominique, Epifanio, Mercedes, Miguel, Jordan and Myles; brothers, Abelardo Muñoz, Jr.; Abel (Dora) Muñoz; Albert (Greg Contreras) Muñoz; Arthuro (Judy) Muñoz; nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family wishes to thank the Bay Area Hospital staff/Day Surgery, University Hospital San Antonio and Spohn Hospice.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be: Alex Muñoz, Jr., Dominique Muñoz, Tony Joe Ortiz, Ronnie Ortiz, Alma Muñoz, Abel Muñoz, Michael Muñoz, and Anthony Muñoz.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
