Bill was born in New York City, July 10, 1929, and lived there until sent by the Army to Korea. Once returned, he worked to finish his education, graduating from Columbia University with a degree of Bachelor of Science.
Then it was on to California, working first in San Francisco before being transferred to Orange County. Here he pursued his favorite activities – starting his own export business, traveling, working with the local diabetes group and sailing.
He was a man of great character, optimistic and easy-going, traits that helped him through his illnesses. Sadly, but peacefully, he left us on July 11, 2012. He will be greatly missed by his loving family – his wife, Donna, daughter Chanel, son Doug, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
