Every time I use one of the woodworking tools I acquired from Steve's tools sale after his death it reminds me of Steve and I hope I can use the tool as good as he did.  He was a great Doctor and great woodworker and I miss him.

As a member of the Orange County Woodworkers Association I have many memories of Steve and his great woodworking skills.  I purchase several tools from his estate when he passed and every time I use one of them it brings back memories of Steve's and his craftsmanship.

Remembering my father, who gave me life.  He instilled values,  work ethics and key lessons in me consistently throughout my life.  What an exceptional example he set as a father, a medical doctor, an artist, and most importantly a best friend.  I am so fortunate to have had a father that did not lead by words or mandates, but instead by action & example.  He taught me to pursue excellence, and to fall in love with the process, often wrought with struggle, setback and failure, and to learn to savor the taste of victory.   His brilliant mind coupled with his caring heart provided me with the deepest privileges a daughter could ever encounter.  He represented what so few ever become.  He will be forever missed and forever loved.   

God not only gave Stephen the gift of talents, but the gift of caring about others in a way that he would totally focus on your needs.  I remember being so sick and not knowing what was wrong.  Mollie happened to call to see how I was. when I told her how sick I felt, she immediately put Stephen on the phone.  he asked me several questions and then directed me to go to the emergency room immediately.  The next day he called me to see how I was doing. I thank God for Stephen and Mollie.  He saved my life and I am forever grateful.  
Stephens talents didn't end there, his amazing talent for making something out of  of nothing was nothing less than a God given talent.  He amazingly could envision each piece of  rare wood and see it's potential.  I bought a few bottle stoppers and gave them away as gifts, but the last one I bought I will never give away as it will always remind me of him and his kindness.  
I'm so glad God brought my path together with Mollie an Stephen.

Stephen was a long time member of the Orange County Woodworking Association and besides being a great Medical Doctor he was a excellent woodworker.  Stephen was a master woodturner where he created one of a kind bowls, vases and items that you wouls say, "how did he do that".  He loved showing his work at the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach every year.  He was very generous in sharing his skills with others and made several presentations to the Association to help upgrade the skill of our members.  Stephen we will miss you and have fun in the shop in the sky.
