Sonya Dopp-Grech

With a heavy heart, the family announces the passing of Sonya Dopp-Grech. Sonya passed peacefully on November 30, 2022 surrounded by family and loved ones. Sonya was born on January 5th 1963 in Fresno, CA. Her parents were Martha and Hans Huber, who had two children together: Herman and Sonya. The family moved to Los Angeles. Sonya later moved to Orange County where she has lived for the past 40 years. Sonya is survived by her two children: Ryan Dopp and Colby Dopp as well as her brother Herman Huber. Sonya dedicated her life to being the best mother to Ryan and Colby as well as many pets whom she adored.

Sonya began her career in commercial real estate in 1982 at Business Properties Brokerage followed by long term tenures at Lee & Associates and NAI Capital.

She joined CBRE, Inc. in 2020 where she was First Vice President. Sonya was an admirable woman and well known and respected in the Orange County business community. Sonya was consistently recognized as a top producer in the commercial real estate field having received numerous honors and recognition.

There will be a viewing for Sonya on Thursday, December 8th beginning at 11:00 am, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 pm, at Pacific View Mortuary and Memorial Park located at 3500 Pacific View Dr, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625. Anyone who knew Sonya personally is more than welcome to come and pay respects.

Donations in Sonya’s memory can be made to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Foundation).
