After a long fought battle with Carcinoid Cancer, Roger passed away on May 3rd. His wife Jacqueline, son Jonathan and Daniela were with him at the hospital.
He was born in England, where he received his BSc. and PhD.
Roger moved to the United States in 1974 as a one year visiting scientist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, eventually making the U.S.A. his permanent home.
He enjoyed a long and varied carer, and retired last year from The University of Dayton Research Institute.
He had a brilliant mind and never stopped pursing knowledge. He also enjoyed participating in many sports, although his favorite pastime was enjoying activities with his family.
He was married to his wife Jacqueline for 47 happy and wonderful years. Together they had a great son Jonathan, who gave him three grandchildren Emma, Elizabeth and Julianne, who brought much joy into his life.
Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
