Joan Valentine Starks passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2018. Born June 23, 1931 in West, Texas. She retired in 2007 from Rancho Santiago Community College / Centennial after 35 years as an ESL Instructor. She is survived by her daughters Joleen Valentine, Carolyn Valentine Herzog (Dale): granddaughters, Shannon Iniguez and Kari Flood; grandchildren Aiden and Joslyn. Memorial services to be held Saturday, January 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Pacific View Mortuary, Corona del Mar. In lieu of flowers, please donate in person or online to Salvation Army.
