Jeffrey Alan Streger

Born to Dr. Mitchell Streger and the Honorable Elaine Streger, he was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeff was an exceptional individual who showed keen interest in those around him.

Born on May 5th, 1967, Jeff had a remarkable gift for retaining and recalling information with remarkable speed. This sharp intellect fueled his love for trivia and game shows, where he thrived on the thrill of competition and the joy of learning. He had the pleasure of appearing on two game shows during the 90s. Jeff appeared on Scattergories, hosted by Dick Clark and Debt, hosted by Wink Martindale. He had a true passion for game shows, which he displayed on his YouTube channel.

Jeff graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. An avid sports fan, Jeff was a devoted spectator to baseball, football, basketball, and hockey. He supported his alma mater’s team the San Diego Aztecs, as well, as being a season seat holder for both the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Los Angeles Chargers. He enjoyed cheering for his favorite teams or engaging in spirited discussions, his enthusiasm was contagious and brought friends and family together.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rachel, his brother Steve and sister-in-law, Kristen, and their children, Sterling and Senen, and his sister Rona and brother-in-law, Andrew, who will treasure his memory and the countless moments shared together. He leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, passion, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Jeff’s life will be honored in a private memorial service. Friends and family are welcome to share their stories and celebrate the joy he brought into our lives on this page.

Rest in peace, Jeff. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. May his memory be a blessing.
