James "Jim" C. Allison died Wednesday evening, March 2, 2011 after a long struggle with heart disease. He is survived by the love of his life -- his wife, Norma, their son, James Michael, and their daughter, Kimberly. Jim and Norma also have two granddaughters and four great children.
Jim and Norma owned the Tobacco Barn Smokeshop in Lake Forrest, California for over 40 years. During that time they made many deep and lasting friends of customers and business associates -- including the new owners and staff. Dad loved people and spent a great deal of time and energy investing in their lives. He will be greatly missed.
We comfort ourselves with the assurance that Jim is in the presence of God now -- unhindered by sickness and fully experiencing the joy of eternal life that was promised him in Christ Jesus. [cf. John 11:25, Phil 1:21, The New International Version of the Bible]
The family wishes to express heart-felt thanks for the generous outpouring of love and support by friends, family and neighbors. We are forever in your debt.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saddleback Hospice Care or the ASPCA.
