Fred John Ramsey

Fred John Ramsey was loved by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Terri, daughter Laurel, granddaughter Savanna and grandson Landon. Fred died at age 66 and joined his daughter Leanna who passed away in 2005. He had a heart for service to his community through serving as a Los Angeles City firefighter and Apparatus Operator for 32 years and as an instructor and director of the Santa Ana College Fire Academy starting in 1990 until the day before his passing. He enjoyed and took pride in his work with the fire service. Fred continued in his service towards his family where he was known as an excellent cook, an athlete that focused on skiing, mountain biking, diving, surfing, golfing, and a source of immense knowledge on almost any subject. He enjoyed motorcycles, motorhome trips, country music and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Fred will be missed and will be our forever hero.
