Connie Rae Berman

Connie Rae Berman, age 81, was born on May 17, 1943, in Glendale, California, to parents James and Marjorie Upfield. She passed away surrounded by family on the beautiful first day of Fall, Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Mission Viejo, California.

She graduated from Simi Valley High School in 1961. In her senior year of high school, she went to modeling school and modeled clothing in several fashion shows in the San Fernando Valley. She then attended Ventura College in Ventura, California where she studied Business.

In 1965, Connie owned and operated a dry cleaning business in the San Fernando Valley. This is where she met her soon-to-be husband, Howard Berman. They were married on June 18, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had two children, Michelle and Todd. In the late 1960s, Connie and Howard opened a very fashionable women’s boutique in Long Beach, California. They loved going to shows and concerts, especially Elvis Presley.

Connie enjoyed exercising, golfing, cooking, going on cruises and visits to Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Marjorie Upfield, and her husband, Howard Berman. She was survived by her Children, Michelle Williams and Todd Berman, her Grandchildren, Cole Williams, Emerson Williams, Troy Berman and Hailey Berman, Brothers, Craig and Scott, and sister, Kimberly.

A funeral service for Connie will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Pacific View Mortuary & Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92625.
