Christine Lee Patterson

Christine Lee Patterson of Newport Beach, California passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, October 16, 2022. She was 77 years young and was predeceased by her parents, William and Betty Thorpe and her sister Victoria Thorpe. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, James Patterson, as well as her children Jennifer, Amy and Greg, their spouses and eight loving grandchildren.

Chris was born in Glendale, California and spent her early years in Van Nuys. Her family relocated to Newport Beach in 1962 and she never left. Upon her graduation from UCLA, she earned her teaching credential at Long Beach State and taught fourth grade at Mesa Verde Elementary. Chris saw her three children through high school as a full-time mom and homemaker before embarking on a second career at Roger's Gardens. What started as a temporary job over the holidays turned into two decades of building cherished relationships with her clients and colleagues.

Christine was a beautiful soul, a devoted wife, a selfless caregiver, a proud and loving mom, an honest and hardworking employee, and a doting grandmother. We are all blessed to have had her in our life.

We will honor and celebrate Christine's life with a viewing, memorial service and reception. Details below:
