As a proud San Clemente, CA local, Aidan spent his childhood on the beaches of Southern California, raised by the waves, where surfing and skateboarding was a daily part of his life. He was a graduate of Junior Lifeguards, obtained his Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor Certifications, and served as an Ice Skating Guard in the off season. Aidan studied Hawaiian-style Jujitsu in Encinitas, CA as well as played ice hockey, soccer, and rugby.
Aidan received his high school diploma from the Orange County Board of Education in 2013. Later in 2020, he went on to further his studies at University of Hawaii, Honolulu. Aidan was a hard worker and extremely committed to learning, which led him to become a jack of all trades. It wasn’t long until he found his true passion in a career of auto mechanics, which allowed him to work with his hands while fulfilling his joy of helping others. Aidan also loved riding and working on his motorcycle, which gave him the feeling of freedom and pride.
As Aidan continued to develop his talents for surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding, he discovered his passion for playing guitar, writing music, and becoming a multidisciplinary artist, which included his hobby as a tattoo artist. He loved being in nature; especially, the mountains and the ocean, which was prevalent in his art and music.
With his all-for-life energy, Aidan loved to travel. He traversed the globe exploring places such as Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Baja California, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. He had the unique ability to make friends wherever he went, spreading the Ohana spirit, and “talk story” of his adventures.
Aidan was one-of-a-kind, adored by everyone around him, touching their lives with his highly infectious smile, sense of humor, positive energy, overwhelming generosity, genuine kindness, incredible compassion, and unwavering empathy for others. Aidan will forever be remembered for lighting up the room with his charm, charisma, and innate ability to make anyone laugh, leaving an indelible memory to all those who loved him. He was so much more vibrant and loud than any words could ever express. Aidan was as colorful as he was outgoing and happy. He was magnetic to people as people were to him. He was definitely the center of attention and for good reason. He will truly be missed by his many friends and family. We will always be reminded of his personal motto, “Live in the Moment,” which signified his love for life and how he considered time as precious.
Aidan was, and always will remain, a cherished and beloved only son, and a lifelong friend to many. He is survived by his loving mother Kimberly, her husband Albert, his aunt Deborah, his cousins Morgan and Joshua, his grandmother Sandra and preceded in death by his grandfather Lee.
Lost but never forgotten, Aidan "The Real McCoy". #kirishpride
