With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Thomas Harold Geneau who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Ottawa Hospital on February 14th 2024 at the age of 68 years, after a 6 year courageous and hard fought battle with cancer.
Tom was a loving father to Neesha Marleau (Jason Marleau) and Sheena Geneau (Jason Sabourin). Proud grand-father to Cameron and Emma Marleau. Big brother to Cheryl Leblanc, Jean Lalonde and the late Mary Dicaire. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A friend to all. He is predeceased by his parents Harold Joseph Geneau and Anna Kathleen (née Abrams) Geneau.
Tom enjoyed spending his time with his daughters, sons-in-law and grandkids. He had a passion for Astronomy, Nature, Photography, Long Drives and Fishing. He had a soft spot for animals and was always cracking a joke.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482).
