It is with great sadness that we express our thoughts of condolences for Tom's passing.  It was an honour to have gotten to know him and to have watched you all loving life together.  Tom was an intersting man with an intersting life... Articulate and thought provoking... It was always such a pleasure to discourse with him.  He was blessed to have shared so many fabulous times with you, and we to have shared in part of his life.  He will live on in our hearts and memories.

Although it's difficult to see beyond the sorrow, one of my many memories will be of you introducing Tom to Europe and he to red wine .... how wonderful is that!  Chosen friend of Joel and Jenna, your many family trips will be recalled forever. What a slice of life you all shared.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad.  Having gone through the same not long ago, I know Paul that you made the best of your time with him.  Cherish it, because trust me, the memories will get you through some tough times that lay ahead of you. Peace be with your Dad, and my prayers are with you all.

Tom was the best shortstop I ever had the pleasure of playing with. He always had my back. Off the field, he shone with his keen intelligence and quick wit. We will all miss him!

Tom, like all my uncles, was a significant influence in my life. NB and the reunions were so important. He took me golfing.  Bacon wrapped scallops, and my first Keith's.  I subscribed to Discover Magazine after taking some from Tom, and still do. His zany-ness was irrepressible. Thanks for the memories and my cousins Tom.

So long to a great friend and mentor.  Tom was a very intelligent man with a lightning quick sense of humor who was passionate about whatever he did.

I've known Tom since the 70's but for the past few years enjoyed his company on the golf course at Myrtle Beach and at Moncton. He'll be missed. My condolences to the family.

Lise , we are very sad to hear of Tom's passing. There is never an easy time to deal with the death of a loved one. It is particularly hard during what should have been a happy time during your retirement to enjoy life together.

I knew Tom and worked with him for Transport Canada in Riverview for many years. He was a great guy with a keen sense of humour. We renewed our acquaintance with Tom in the last few years here at Myrtle Beach through golf and social outings. As my wife said "he was an all around nice guy". Tom was a co-worker, neighbour for decades and a friend forever! He was gifted with a huge intellect and athletic ability. You could count on Tom to  bring very knowledgeable input to any conversation, be it about science, medicine, history,technology or just about any subject. As a hockey player he was one of the top scorers on any league he played.( and probably led in penalty minutes as well), and played ball with the same intensity!  As his social bridge partner for many years, he would have the total picture before anyone and could not understand a misplay. 
The last few years, Tom would visit us at our summer place (farm) for boating and golf; Show up for the Dr J and join the group in Myrtle Beach for golf.
We will miss him as he always brought a special spark to the room.
Will miss you my friend.

Tom was a good friend with a big heart. I worked with Tom for many years as well as playing hockey together years ago and more recently lots of golf in Moncton and Myrtle Beach. Diane and I will miss Tom.He left this world way too early.
