CURRIE, Ronald – Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday April 16, 2018. He was 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Val (Eberspächer) Currie. Dear father of Monica Currie-Penning (Gerald) and Steven Currie (Heidi). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Daniella Currie-Schwenzer (Geunter), Ashley Habjan (Nick) and Joshua Thomas (Amanda) and 3 great grandchildren, Samantha, Isabella, and Oliver. Predeceased by his parents, Hector and Alina (Blais) Currie, and 2 brothers Alexandre Currie (Lucille) and Robert Miles (Gail). Respecting Ron’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation services have been entrusted to the care of the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Rite of Committal at the Field of Honour Cemetery, Pointe Claire Québec, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
