LAFAVE, Roland “Grassy ”– Korean War Veteran - passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site, on April 28, 2016. Roland was born on November 21, 1928. In 1952 he married the late Veronica Taillon, together they raised their son Larry. Roland was an honoured veteran having served in Korea and was also stationed in Hawaii and Japan. Dear father of Larry (Lucie). Loving grandfather of Scott (Julie), Megan (Joseph), Nathalie (Christian), Amanda (Joshua). Will be sadly missed by his “Little Buddy” his great grandson, Cameron. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First St East (613-933-2841) from 12:30 P.M. Tuesday. A Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3 P.M. The family will be in attendance on Tuesday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of Service.
