Robert grew up on the family farm at Osnabruck Center, known as the “OC”. He attended schools in Ingleside and Cornwall.
He always had a love for sports. In his early years he played when he could (baseball) and then he continued to follow baseball, hockey, football etc. His love of sports continued throughout his life, his passion for collecting hockey cards was endless.
He loved family gatherings and loved his furry friend “Lucy”. He enjoyed having a beer with family and friends (“CRAZY”) in the “OC”. Bob always wore something blue as he was a “Toronto Maple Leafs” fan, and if you needed to know something about sports, chances are he would have the answer.
Bob also had a special spot for the “Tiger”, pictures and stuffed animals of tigers followed him everywhere he went.
