JOUSTRA, Rita – at her residence, on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Rita (Burtenshaw) Joustra of Avonmore; age 69. Beloved wife of Teake Joustra. Loving mother of Barbara of Kelowna B.C., Deborah Dillabough (Rob) of Finch, Kevin (Julie) of Berwick and Jeffrey (Cindy) of Cornwall. Proud grandmother of Brandon, Curtis, Justin, Kristen and Zachary. Dear sister of Albert Burtenshaw (Shirley) of Amherstview, Sharon Dassylva of Ottawa, Nancy Osborne of Orleans, Diane Osborne (Gilles) of Limoges and David Burtenshaw (Paulette) of Moose Creek. Dear daughter of the late Kenneth Burtenshaw and the late Lois (Irvine) Burtenshaw. Predeceased by two sisters Sydney and Susie and one brother Randy. Cremation. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Thursday. A Graveside service will be held Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery at 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church 2264 Pitt Street Cornwall at 1p.m., all are welcome at both Services. The family will be in attendance on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
