LEVAC, Richard Paul – passed away with family by his side on July 23, 2024, at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital at the age of 69 years. Richard was a retired Public Property Supervisor with the City of Cornwall, where he dedicated many years of service. He was a devoted family man and an active member of Precious Blood Parish, Glen Walter. Richard had a passion for gadgets and technology, always enjoying the latest innovations.
Beloved husband of Peggy (née Centen) Levac. Loving father of Sean Levac (Renee), Danielle Shoniker (Brendan), and James Levac (Stephanie). Cherished Grampa of Haley, Nolan, Dylan, Mason, Tristan, Grace, Ethan, Rylan, Maci, and Colby. Dear brother of Claude Levac (Marjorie), Johanne Levac (Marla), Gerald Levac (Lynn), and Diane Cooper (Rick). Predeceased by his parents, Henri and Gracia (née Bercier) Levac. He will be missed by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Family will be in attendance at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall), Cornwall (613-938-1039) on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Parish, Glen Walter, followed by an inurnment in the Parish Cemetery.
