Beloved husband of Suzanne (née Morin) Lavictoire for over 59 years.
Loving father of Richard Lavictoire (Robin Shields) Proud grandfather of Ethan and Hannah and step-grandfather of Shayla, Marleigh and Innis. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Romeo and Jeanne (née Menard) Lavictoire, his brothers Lucien and Laurent as well as his sisters Monique, Rita and Madeleine.
The family wish to give their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and doctors of the Critical Care Unit (ICU) at the Cornwall Community Hospital for their kindness and care to both Richard and his family.
In keeping with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
