POIRIER, Reginald Joseph – peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre on Monday February 27, 2017 at age 83. Beloved husband of Beverley (nee Dawson) for 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Paulette Rossi, Steven and Carol-Ann Sperandeo (Steve). Cherished Poppa of Delio, Victoria, Cristiano, Breanna, Brittney, Marcello and Charles. Loving brother of Jeannine Touchette (the late Hubert), Eileen Bookhout (the late Keith) and Georgette Desrosiers (Yvon). Predeceased by his parents Donat and Yvonne (Brunet) Poirier, by his sister Anita Gadbois (Aubrey) and by brothers Laurier (the late Diana), Adrien (the late Gisele) and Lionel. Special thank you to the St. Joseph’s Villa Palliative Care Team for all of their loving care and compassion. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, EAST Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841) on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service. A Memorial Service will be Celebrated Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the St. Joseph’s Villa Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
