C'est avec une énorme peine que nous vous annonçons que Pauline Raymond nous a quittés doucement le matin du 8 juin 2018 à la résidence Woodland de Long Sault à l’âge de 82 ans. Originaire de Cornwall, elle habitait à l’Ile Hamilton, Summerstown, Ontario pour près de 40 ans; jusqu’au mois de mars 2018. Elle laisse dans le deuil, après 57 ans de mariage, son époux Robert Raymond, sa fille Joanne Raymond (Marc Paquette) et son garçon Marc Raymond (Lisa), ses petites-filles Émilie Raymond, Gabrielle Raymond et Caroline Raymond, ainsi que sa sœur Jeannette Matte (Jean), son frère Robert Marleau (Suzanne), ses belles-sœurs Roberta Marleau et Simone Marleau et plusieurs nièces et neveux. Prédécédée par ses parents Léon et Marie-Anne Marleau ainsi que ses frères et sœurs; Marie Marleau, Cécile Cinquina (Albert), Roland Marleau (Lilianne), René Marleau (Jacqueline), Roger Marleau (Simone), Lucienne Marleau, Jeannine Marleau, Marcel Marleau, Jacques Marleau, Edouard Marleau (Roberta). La famille accueillera les parents et ami(e)s au salon funéraire de Lahaie et Sullivan situé au 614 Première rue est, Cornwall le mardi 12 juin de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. Le jour des funérailles, le salon sera ouvert à compter de 9h. Les funérailles auront lieu le mercredi 13 juin à 11h à la Co-cathédrale de la Nativité, 300 chemin Montréal, Cornwall. Par la suite, la dépouille mortelle sera incinérée et les cendres seront déposées au cimetière de la Nativité. Originally from Cornwall, she lived on Hamilton’s Island in Summerstown, Ontario for almost 40 years; up to March 2018. She leaves to mourn, after 57 years of marriage, her husband Robert Raymond, her daughter Joanne Raymond (Marc Paquette), her son Marc Raymond (Lisa), her grand-daughters Emilie Raymond, Gabrielle Raymond and Caroline Raymond, as well as her sister Jeannette Matte (Jean), her brother Robert Marleau (Suzanne), her sisters-in-law Roberta Marleau and Simone Marleau as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Léon and Marie-Anne Marleau as well as her siblings Marie Marleau, Cécile Cinquina (Albert), Roland Marleau (Lilianne), René Marleau (Jacqueline), Roger Marleau (Simone), Lucienne Marleau, Jeannine Marleau, Marcel Marleau, Jacques Marleau, Edouard Marleau (Roberta). The family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home located at 614 First Street East, Cornwall Tuesday, June 12th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The day of the funeral, the home will open at 9 am. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, June 13th at 11am at Nativity Co-cathedral, 300 Montréal Rd., Cornwall. After cremation, the ashes will then be buried in Nativity cemetery.
In her memory, donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or Alzheimer Society Canada would be appreciated. The family thanks the personnel of Woodland Villa for their care and compassion during these last months.
